Day Two Camino Portugues

Flip Flops By Day 2

Flip-flops, frozen peas and Compeed are the name of the game!

It was a short distance day of 13km and absolutely beautiful walk.

My bunkmate is Michael from Germany again! He’s in his 70s and says he’s too old to walk the Camino, but I think he’s doing great.

Strangely enough, I haven’t met many Pilgrims in 2 days.

The prices in Portugal are fantastic! I bought a bag of groceries for 5€: tomatoes, fruit, bread, jamon, 2 kinds of cheese and bottle of wine.

The Alburge donativo where I stay doesn’t use heat and it is very cold. It seems to be adding up to an early night with an audio book and cozy sleeping bag.

Bom Caminho!

Some journeys are taken for adventure. Others… for meaning.

I’m embarking on a powerful expedition through Nepal and India—into the Himalayas, sacred spaces, and the early exploration of a humanitarian vision for children in need. This is a real-time journey of discovery, storytelling, and creation.

If you feel something stirring as you read this, you’re invited to follow along, receive updates, or become part of the journey as a patron. Enter the expedition here:
