Day Three Camino Del Norte

Surfing Mud Puddles

This route sure has a lot of mud puddles! When I walked into town, the locals giggled at my mud-encrusted feet/legs.

It turned out to be a challenging 8+ hour day due to all the mountainous inclines and slippery downhills; I had an epic fall once after a big puddle jump.

The Basque People celebrated a holiday and the town square was packed with families who enjoyed food, drink, song and dance, plus some other interesting entertainment like wood-chopping contents and prize cow judging.

My lodging options were limited and I chose to stay in an albergue housed in an old convent.

Life is never dull on the Camino!

Some books are discovered after they’re published.

Book One is experienced while it’s still unfolding.

Act Two is an invitation into a living work of art where stories, films, photographs, reflections, and creative discoveries come together as the manuscript continues to take shape. Every visit offers something new because the journey is still alive. You are invited to explore it now.
