Getting Stronger By The Day

My longest distance day yet on the Camino de Santiago!

Asides from a very rough morning start, today turned out to be a really awesome adventure, ending in a climb to the top of a hill to find a bed at an albergue.

There were a lot of tired pilgrims today, some rolling into town with really bad bed bug bites!

It’s always fascinating to investigate the towns and villages I stop in at the end of my stage.

Spain is such a beautiful country!
