Day Twelve Ice Age Trail

I Am Tick-Free!

It feels like 3-Days-In-1 backpacking out here…so much occurs!
“Hiker Euphoria” is the real deal and I felt so high on nature while walking in solitude.
10 minutes of lively commentary were cut from this video to keep the video length manageable. (I had a lot to share!)
Because there were no potable water sources along the way, I packed more H2O, taking my pack weight up, and also stopped at friendly homes who allowed me to fill up.
People are good.
When I reached the town of Wild Rose, it was absolutely thrilling to find an open restaurant/bar that served my favorite Wisconsin beer on tap: New Glarus Spotted Cow.
An icy cold beer and some piping hot sweet potato fries were an excellent way to end the day’s quest at 17.1 miles.
Buen Camino!

Some journeys are taken for adventure. Others… for meaning.

I’m embarking on a powerful expedition through Nepal and India—into the Himalayas, sacred spaces, and the early exploration of a humanitarian vision for children in need. This is a real-time journey of discovery, storytelling, and creation.

If you feel something stirring as you read this, you’re invited to follow along, receive updates, or become part of the journey as a patron. Enter the expedition here:
