Day One Ice Age Trail

And So It Begins…

It was dry weather but cold, lots of wildlife to see, mostly foul, and ending the day with my total distance reading 25.8 miles with a 15lb backpack.

Muskrats were plentiful, building their cute little homes along the trail…I captured them with my eyes and heart, not with the camera.

Speaking of camera, I did not bring a stabilizer or anything else but iPhone to keep things light and simple.

When you’re battling the weather with weary limbs, it’s important to focus on the moment.

Buen Camino!
