Explore The Palenque Ruins

7th Century Architecture

Wow, what an experience! The Mayan Ruins of Palenque are as important as Chichen Itza, Uxmal and Tikal in architectural magnificence and historical significance.

Thankfully I’ve made it to Chichen Itza before and missed Uxmal and Tikal on this trip.

Palenque is located in the Tumbalá mountains, and overlooks the jungle below. The Mayan builders and architects of Palenque balanced landscape with platforms, temples and palaces, which created an artful harmony at the settlement.

I shot an hour of footage and it was difficult to cut something so short; what you see here is an appetizer and I specifically didn’t add music because I want you to hear the naked sound of the jungle.

Enjoy a mesmerizing place with me…I was absolutely enchanted.

Some journeys are taken for adventure. Others… for meaning.

I’m embarking on a powerful expedition through Nepal and India—into the Himalayas, sacred spaces, and the early exploration of a humanitarian vision for children in need. This is a real-time journey of discovery, storytelling, and creation.

If you feel something stirring as you read this, you’re invited to follow along, receive updates, or become part of the journey as a patron. Enter the expedition here:
