Merry Christmas From The Sahara

1 Man, 4 Wives, 13 Kids: True Nomads

During my stay in Morocco I was blessed with many experiences, one of which was visiting a true Nomad camp where one man had 4 wives and 13 kids. Wow! They were legitimate simple-living desert people.

I was blessed with a private performance from Sudanese men who migrated to Morocco.

(Gulp!) And…. my sandboarding was anti-climatic for an adventurer. I didn’t look like that cool girl in the photo. My guide took me to an epic peak in the dunes and I had one look. Nope! It was so steep and long; one fall could equal broken bones, a hospital in Morocco and missed Visa flight to USA. I took a few attempts down a baby hill and that was just fine in the name of safety.

The Sahara Desert is truly awe-inspiring. I highly recommend it.
