Day Seven Mount Kilimanjaro
Made It To The Summit
We climbed to 5,895 metres or 19,341 feet. Wow!
Nobody told me how difficult the summit would be. Perhaps that’s a good thing?
Halfway to the summit my legs felt they weighed 1 ton each, moving upwards in molasses as the arctic wind blew me backwards down the mountain.
Despite all the challenges… I am so glad I took on this epic quest, this amazing expedition.
Mount Kilimanjaro was stunning, humbling and life-changing.
